Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Dakotasuchus, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. June 2022

Hi there. I'm Serge, an admin here. While I do appreciate the fact that you seem intent on adding sources to Wikipedia. It's a very important aspect of Wikipedia. However, you really should read over

WP:LEAD
. The articles lead (intro paragraph(s)) don't need sources if it's already sourced in the body of the article. A well-written lead/intro should only summarized what is later written (and sourced) later on in the article. It's an overview of what the article will cover, basically.

I just wanted to let you know, as a number of your recent edits showed you adding references to lead/intros that didn't need it. I just didn't want you wasting time doing unnecesssary things is all. Thanks! Sergecross73 msg me 18:20, 30 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

WP:CITEKILL — adding four or more references, as you did at Cincinnati Bengals, to a single sentence does not improve an article's quality, readability, or reliability. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 14:47, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply

Well, I tend to get carried away with references mostly due the fact that research is one of my biggest fields of interest. But I see what you mean. It isn't a big deal though. DerpderpX (talk) 15:03, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
