I've added the "{{

dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion
, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.

You will need to provide a citation for your 'Books Instead of Guns' assertion for

Notorious BIG if you want it to stay. Also, that trivia will need to occur later in the article so the sentence is not so long. I suggest in a section lower down. But please do not add this information until you have the citation. Google does not have any such record of this, unless you include the web pages that copied this wikipedia entry word for word. See if you can find a book or magazine article about it. Cshay 21:56, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply

Most of the citations you found just copied the wikipedia entry. HOWEVER, the MTV article was perfect and solved this mystery. It states that "Books" is used once a year at a charity event. Since this is not common usage of his name and is really just trivia, it should not clutter up the first paragraph like it was doing. So I moved it down below into his legacy section. Have a look. The above article is currently listed for deletion here. The reason listed was the nonresponse to {{Total Dispute}} tag, as well as the lack of citations. If you add citation, it may be saved. Please do so. Ramsquire (throw me a line) 22:28, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

Hi Dooly00000,

Thanks for joining

the popular culture working group? (I don't know if your interests extend to Korean popular culture; just a suggestion). If that doesn't suit, perhaps Wikipedia:WikiProject Korea/Cuisine would be to your liking? Of course, you don't have to join any groups at all, if you'd prefer not to. At any rate, hope to see you around! Cheers, -- Visviva 14:51, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply

A while back you started the Konami workgroup. I've expanded it somewhat, but you might want to flesh out the todo box somewhat. I'm not a big Konami fan myself, but I work on the CVG WikiProject, so I thought I'd help out a bit. Cheers, JACOPLANE • 2007-01-3 05:48

Proposed deletion of G-Unit vs. The Game feud

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article G-Unit vs. The Game feud, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Is this really worthy of being an entire article? It should at most be a SECTION on the involved artists pages.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's

dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page
.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the

proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Crash Underride 21:16, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of

WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion
will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of

Infobox Korean Film

Hello, I saw your ID on

Infobox Korean Film into the generic Infobox Film category, deleting the Hangul/hanja/RR/MR information, or keeping it separate (as it currently is). I would appreciate it if you to contribute your thoughts or at least glance over it. The more people looking/thinking about it will give us better ideas as to what should be decided. Article upgrade assistance request (Pre-translation stage)

Seasons Greetings,

This is in reference to a relatively new umbrella article on en-wikipedia named Ceremonial pole. Ceremonial pole is a human tradition since ancient times; either existed in past at some point of time, or still exists in some cultures across global continents from north to south & from east to west. Ceremonial poles are used to symbolize a variety of concepts in several different world cultures.

Through article Ceremonial pole we intend to take encyclopedic note of cultural aspects and festive celebrations around Ceremonial pole as an umbrella article and want to have historical, mythological, anthropological aspects, reverence or worships wherever concerned as a small part.

While Ceremonial poles have a long past and strong presence but usually less discussed subject. Even before we seek translation of this article in global languages, we need to have more encyclopedic information/input about Ceremonial poles from all global cultures and languages. And we seek your assistance in the same.

Since other contributors to the article are insisting for

reliable sources and Standard native english; If your contributions get deleted (for some reason like linguistics or may be your information is reliable but unfortunately dosent match expectations of other editors) , please do list the same on Talk:Ceremonial pole
page so that other wikipedians may help improve by interlanguage collaborations, and/or some other language wikipedias may be interested in giving more importance to reliablity of information over other factors on their respective wikipedia.

This particular request is being made to you since your user name is listed in Wikipedia:Translators available list.

Thanking you with warm regards Mahitgar (talk) 06:16, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

Hi. The

Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant!
