Illustration of articles on German Wikipedia

Hello Dpalma01,

in the last few days you have added galleries to several pages on the German Wikipedia. Thank you for your efforts. Unfortunately these additions do not conform to the requirements for illustrations in the German Wikipedia. First of all, an article is built up with text. Any picture should be chosen carefully, to illustrate the text messages, without "over-illustration". A gallery can be helpful, but I got the impression that your additions are rather an unsorted collection taken from commons. Moreover, a proper description of every single picture is required in most cases. I will check the gallerys and some pictures will be kept. However, this means additional clean-up work for me in a field I am not familiar with. This is not build up barriers, but to ensure appropriate illustration of the article. Again, thank you for trying, cheers, --
