Georgia Tech colors

"Tech gold" is just a branding name with Adidas. Their colors are still Old hold and white, per their website media guides... which is what we go by. My recommendation is to start a discussion on the main athletics article talk page if you disagree. Corky 21:10, 2 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I added my proposal to this page. Droidman1231 (talk) 22:12, 2 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I forgot to leave an updated message here. I ended up contacting the athletics media relations dept. and they confirmed it was officially changed to Tech gold. I have made the change so it automatically displays, replacing Old gold in the infoboxes. In my defense, I've put many hours in updating colors and logos for NCAA schools and so many times editors want to use the branding name rather than the official school name. Sorry for the confusion. Nah you're good, thanks for looking into it and checking with the athletic department officially. While I like the rebranding overall, a part of me is sad to see Old Gold and Buzz's Converse go. The price of progress I guess :/ Droidman1231 (talk) 01:09, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
