If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read

the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard

to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page,

speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Uranotaenia – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page
.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by

article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. —UY Scuti Talk 09:51, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply

@Liz: @UY Scuti: Having looked at the source I can see that this speedy deletion was incorrect: it states that the subgenus has the same name as the genus (which is also said at the article Uranotaenia. Liz, could you please undelete this stub? That said, I imagine it's as poorly presented as the parallel subgenus Pseudoficalbia, needing some cleanup.
@Dsuhrbur: Thank you for contributing these three articles to the encyclopedia, but in future please note that Wikipedia articles should be written in sentences, that lists are formatted using bullet points (use an asterisk, "*") rather than with <br/> and that the articles should contain more than just a bare list of species. Thanks. PamD 08:53, 27 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, sorry PamD and Dsuhrbur! I didn't have the slightest idea. And thanks for pointing that out PamD. Regards—UY Scuti Talk 09:02, 27 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@UY Scuti: Well you wouldn't have made that mistake if the article on the subgenus had said which genus it's a subgenus of! As the Pseudoficalbia one does, now that I've fixed it. So it was an easy mistake to make. PamD 09:06, 27 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
