National_Society_of_Black_Engineers#Programs_and_Events

Hi! I noticed that you added some content to National_Society_of_Black_Engineers#Programs_and_Events. This is a good start and my only quibble is that you used the term "enjoyable", which can be seen as a non-neutral term. I was wondering if you were interested in expanding the section further and writing a paragraph or two that gives an overview of what their programs and events have to offer. A list is good and it could still remain under the paragraphs, however expanding this would make it easier to cover some of the finer details of the programs/events like the sentence you added.

Out of the list, you wouldn't have to cover scholarships, Awards and Prizes, or anything that has already been discussed earlier in the article (since that would be redundant information), if that makes it more appealing. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:00, 4 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright

I just noticed that the image you used was taken from the NSBE's official website, which is copyrighted to that organization. This means that the image itself is copyrighted and should not be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, as it would pose a copyright violation. I've tagged this as such and the image will be removed from the Commons. The only person(s) that could upload that image would be someone representing the NSBE that also had the power to release the image under a Creative Commons copyright, which limits who can upload this. Since it is a nice and helpful image, it would be a good idea to reach out to the organization at info@nsbe.org and see if they're willing to upload the image themselves and file a ticket with

WP:ORTS showing that they're giving Wikipedia permission to use the image. This can take a while and is entirely optional, but it's something that would be pretty helpful. The worst they can do is politely decline, right? Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:39, 4 October 2017 (UTC)[reply
