Category additions

Hi there. Please have a read of

WP:CAT/R. Categories dealing with religion and sexuality should only be added to biographies where a) the subject self-identifies as a member of a particular religion or sexuality; and b) where their notability derives from their religion or sexuality. This was not the case with some recent additions you made. BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 21:39, 28 May 2023 (UTC)[reply

Recently I've only been cleaning up the "British Roman Catholics" category, changing the existing category tag to the proper subcategory per the note on that category, or removing it entirely if there's no reference. Ellipsis22 (talk) 02:54, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, understood. I keep an eye on the Irish/Northern Irish religious cats and noticed the addition of Ruth Kelly, which had previously been removed. In the meantime, the article had been added to the British category. I think about 90% of the religious cats members probably don't meet all criteria for inclusion (self-identifying, notable for it, and referenced), but I just monitor what I can.
