LA Coliseum

If the St. Moritz Olympic Ice Rink hosted the Olympics twice in 1924 and 1948, why are you even bothering with this edit war? Just trying to understand your actions. --Falcadore (talk) 11:24, 31 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The original edits were poorly written in unencyclopedic language and clearly inaccurate. It called the Coliseum the third stadium to do so, after the Olympic Ice Rink. But it mostly focused on the Stockholm issue, which is a ridiculous argument as it was the site of only the Equestrian events, due to issues with bringing horses to Australia. Melbourne hosted the Olympics that year. So changes that refer to that I've been reverting. This is an often cited fact. It would be more accurate to say it was the first (and only) stadium to host the Summer Olympics twice. I'll change it to say that. Embowaf (talk) 00:16, 1 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
That is not an excuse for edit warring. Certainly not an excuse for violating 3R as you did. --Falcadore (talk) 01:55, 1 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Didn't do either, but that's cool. Embowaf (talk) 06:37, 1 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for December 27

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of UCLA Bruins bowl games, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Santa Clara. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
