Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Ventania. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 20:08, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup requests

Hi Esnupi, could you please do the following steps for the translated articles you create?

  1. Add the template message {{rough translation|Portuguese}} to the top of the article so that an editor fluent in both languages can improve it. (example edit)
  2. Add an interlanguage link, such as [[pt:Goioxim]] to Goioxim. This creates a link to the original article pt:Goioxim. (example edit) More information at Help:Interlanguage links and pt:Ajuda:Guia de edição/Interwikis. You don't have to create any other links, such as "it:" or "no:"; a bot will do that for you.
  3. Add a category, such as Category:Cities, towns and villages in Paraná State for Goioxim. (example edit) It's usually easy to find the right category: pt:Goioxim is in pt:Categoria:Municípios do Paraná, and the "English" link there goes to Category:Cities, towns and villages in Paraná State.
  4. If you can, for short articles add a stub template, such as {{ParanáBR-geo-stub}} for Goioxim (example edit). It can be hard to find the right template, though, so if you're not sure, use {{Brazil-geo-stub}}.

I agree with Melchoir, could you please read the cleanup request before starting more articles? You have created more than 100 articles in a week. Clubmarx (talk) 01:35, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on

criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article that does not provide sufficient context to identify its subject. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify
their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that

Whoa, slow down!

Hi! It's apparent that English isn't your first language, which isn't a problem in most cases. However, the sheer number of these too-short and poorly written stubs is creating a massive amount of cleanup for other editors. Please don't add any more unless and until the others are cleaned up. Thanks. --

One more thing: Virtually all of these entries look to be machine translations; this is a violation of copyright. Please don't use machine translations, please don't violate copyright and please consider contributing to the Brazilian Portuguese Wikipedia. Thanks.

(On the other hand, using {{Translated page}} per Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate would clear up the copyright issue.) Melchoir (talk) 02:29, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

These articles don't seem to be translated from another Wikipedia

Hello Esnupi. I'm leaving this note here since others may want to know the status of the new articles you've created. Per [1] there seems to be no Brazilian Wikipedia, though there is a Portuguese one. One of Esnupi's new articles is Clevelândia, which is *not* a translation from pt:Clevelândia, a fact which which is easily seen even by people who don't know the language. The Portuguese article, if fully translated, would meet our standards here. My own vote would be to go ahead with the deletion of Esnupi's new articles on places in Brazil until such time as proper versions can be made. tao you saying that I did not take Wikipedia articles in Portuguese and so you guys go on the wiki in Portuguese and translated for you to see if not— Preceding unsigned comment added by Esnupi (talkcontribs)

Please stop creating poor articles, like this one. Clubmarx (talk) 17:35, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Esnupi, please stop. Because your articles appear to have been machine translated from Portuguese, they are not proper English. Noone understands a word of what you have written. Please stop. 94.212.31.237 (talk) 17:46, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, I should also point out that after discussion of this matter at the administrators' noticeboard, I initiated a mass deletion of all of your new content. Between your incivility, the sheer number of poorly written articles and the fact that cleaning these up would require hundreds of hours of volunteer time, it was all I could do. --

Obrigado, Victão Lopes I hear you... 15:16, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Profane comment

Hello Esnupi. If you have any desire to continue editing here on Wikipedia, I hope you will avoid making further comments like the one I just deleted from your Talk page. More such comments and you will most likely be indefinitely blocked. Since you have a desire to create articles, I hope you will settle down and stick around for a while.
