Hello Administrator,

I think that I may need help in getting "confirmed". I would like to upload a file (photo) to improve an existing article.

I have been a frequent user of Wikipedia for many months, but have only contributed two edits. It could be years before I meet the criteria for autoconfirmation.

My image is of a phantasmagoria, and will improve the article of that title. It is an engraving from a book published in 1869. There is little doubt that it is in the public domain.

Regards,

10 edits isn't hard to get, and there's a reason for the autoconfirmation criteria. I'm afraid that you just need to meet the criteria if you want to upload a file. --Deskana (talk) 23:38, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
(e/c) You've made five edits. Go make five spelling correction and you will be autoconfirmed. Just go here and click on something on the list. However, you should not upload the image here at all; upload it to the Wikimedia Commons instead of here, so that all projects have access to the image (sign up).--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 23:41, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
