Niall Breslin

Hi, you reverted my changes on Niall Breslin and gave a strong warning to me about unsourced edits. I had added content to the page to highlight that Niall Horan had attended the same school as Bressie.

The issue with citing such a statement arises where there are no reliable articles published online which back this fact up. We can see from Niall Horan's page that He attended St. Kenny's National School, a primary school, and Mary's College (Irish: Coláiste Mhuire), a Catholic boys school, which are both located in his hometown of Mullingar and we also see the same consensus from the Coláiste Mhuire, Mullingar page. I am confused why these articles require no valid citation (especially on a protected page such as Horan's) yet Breslin's article does. It appears as though there is a lack of consistency in this regard across Wikipedia, which admittedly may be a broader issue in the platform itself. I'd request that you either correct the record and remove these uncited statement from the aforementioned articles or restore my edit to Niall Breslin's page.

Thank you.

Reversion of edit on Greatest Rappers Of All Time Page

I think that Johnson's far-right politics are worth mentioning given the fact that the topic is already political in nature (white supremacy/racism via Eminem's placement). Johnson's politics include fascist principles such as racial separatism, hatred toward LGBTQ+ identities, antisemitism, and opposition to interracial marriage. This can all be found on his personal Wikipedia page, and referring to him simply as a "psychologist" provides insufficient context for his statements on the topic at hand as well as lends an air of misplaced credibility to his statements that I believe is irresponsible on our part as editors. Reversion of edit on List of Estonian-Americans

You removed an edit because the source was a wiki. Here is a source which is a transcript of a podcast episode where Wiger says that he is "ethnically Estonian." Is that sufficient? https://app.podscribe.ai/episode/91393604 216.158.246.185 (talk) 20:00, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to ask you to please post a translated article for me.

I already have an article translated into English. But I can't post it myself. 58.137.32.194 (talk) 05:18, 28 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

article for creation is the right route for you to take (regardless of the article's topic). I hope this helped! Felida97 (talk) 16:53, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply

verifiable information. You cannot expect everyone who comes across this claim to "ask a lot of the population" in order to verify it, which is why a reliable source is needed and why I removed it. Hope that clears it up! Felida97 (talk) 16:26, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply

Removed necessary additions to the chess set page.

Hey, you removed necessary additions to the chess set page.

Please advise the edits was made with the authoraization of (FIDE), the regulatory body responsible for chess.

Luxury chess is an important topic not coverd at all on wikipedia and is a well searched topic (See Ahrefs/Semrush)

The external link is the correct link.

Please contact me if you need any extra information.

Oh,I see. I’m no official nor I’m related to the website linked… I contacted fide because I suspected this could happen due to the linking, and wanted a confirmation which the customer representative gave with no problems at all.(it is just the only chess website I found that focuses on selling luxury chess sets, and I’m pretty sure I saw a couple of stores linked to multiple articles in Wikipedia.
if the problem is the link we can change it to a blog of some kind 2A0D:6FC2:6A00:600:1BC:8AB8:F941:7EF (talk) 16:11, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

WP:UGC), so "a blog of some kind" would not work either. Side note: I think it's unlikely that a suitable, reliable source even exists as I don't believe "chess set enthusiasts" are often written about, right? (And you would need something like that since you're making a claim about the preferences/opinion of that group people.) I hope this helps. Also, please let me know pages where you "saw a couple of stores linked to" if you come across them again. Felida97 (talk) 00:17, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply

What? It’s not about the chess enthusiasts, it’s about luxury chess sets, which is a highly searched topic “among” chess enthusiasts With no article / page in Wikipedia. Which to me seems odd. There are multiple sources I can think of who cover this topic. If the part about the enthusiastic is the issue we can rephrase it to your liking… 2A0D:6FC2:6A00:100:2C74:2907:F768:BB52 (talk) 00:24, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@GandalfGreyWizard: Your original claim was not that luxury chess sets exist or that it's a highly searched topic (which is a claim for which you have not provided your source either btw); your claim was that they're "a popular choice among chess set enthusiasts", so, it very much is about chess set enthusiasts (also notice how you went from "chess set enthuisiasts" to "chess enthusiasts"; those are obviously two different groups of people that not necessarily overlap completely). If you want, you can link me all those sources you mentioned and I will happily tell you whether they're reliable and what kind of claims they would support. EXCUSE ME?!?!

Hi there, I noticed that my recent addition of Nicholas "Lil Crack Gangsta'" Pensylvester to the "people known as Nicholas" section on the "Nicholas" page was removed. I believe that Nicholas Pensylvester deserves to be recognized just as much as any other Nicholas. It's disheartening to see him excluded while others, like Nicholas Duncan-Williams, are included. Nicholas Pensylvester has a considerable following with 20,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, and I believe he should be acknowledged on the Nicholas page. I understand that maintaining the accuracy of Wikipedia is important, but it's also crucial to ensure that deserving individuals are not overlooked. I hope we can work together to find a solution that recognizes Nicholas Pensylvester's contributions and ensures the accuracy of the Nicholas page. Thank you. @Guswe: Hi, assuming that this is the edit you mean, you added a person that does not have a Wikipedia article (you may have noticed that every listed person in the Nicholas article has a Wikipedia article). As my message on your IP talk page states: "In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline." I have doubts that this person is notable. I hope this clears it up. Felida97 (talk) 23:57, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
