Classic Rock
Hello. I was wondering if you would like to participate in my classic rock survey. I'm trying to find the most like classic rock song. There is more information on my user page. Hope you participate!
I have now made this a disambig page as per your request. Chris (クリス • フィッチ) (talk) 21:16, 17 April 2008 (UTC) Gracias. GBrady (talk) 14:01, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Hiya. Please note that I've moved this to the Danny Rodriguez article - the D-Boy page is now a redirect. Also note that, in my opinion, the article was a little 'fannish' (is that a proper word ?!) in terms of a non-neutral point of view, so I've made a few cuts and minor changes - you may want to review it to see if you disagree with any of them. Thanks. :-) CultureDrone (talk) 11:43, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Andrus, Blackwood and Company
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. PseudoChron (talk) 18:26, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of Mighty Wind and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. De728631 (talk) 19:02, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
- I've declined to delete this, but it's in bad need of work. The tone is promotional, it has no wikilinks, and it doesn't even say anything like, "Mighty Wind is a record album."! --Orange Mike | Talk 19:41, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Andrae crouch soulfully.jpg)
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:16, 20 September 2008 (UTC)

Merging articles
I hesitate to do this because I disagree with what I think you're trying to do - but if you do insist on proposing a merger between articles, please read this advice first so that you get the process right. There is an issue - which has been much debated in the past, but that's no reason not to think about it again (yawn...) - over merging Rock and roll and Rock music. But if you want to bring Origins of rock and roll into that as well, it would be more sensible in my view to try to merge that article with Rock and roll first - which is something I'd actually probably support - rather than proposing a merger with the Rock music article. Ghmyrtle (talk) 14:57, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
- OK. I agree with the latter argument for sure. How do we get the ball rolling to crunch Origins of rock and roll into Rock and roll. GBrady (talk) 15:14, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Survey Invite
I'm working on a study of political motivations and how they effect editing. I'd like to ask you to take a survey. The survey should take 5 minutes. Your survey responses will be kept private. Our project is documented at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Research:Wikipedia_%2B_Politics.
I am asking you to participate in this study because you are a frequent editor of pages on Wikipedia that are of political interest. We would like to learn about your experiences in dealing with editors of different political orientations.
Sincere thanks for your help! Porteclefs (talk) 19:50, 19 June 2017 (UTC)
