Historian John Moore of Bourne published a book in 1809. He had access to references which have now disappeared, probably through a fire at the premises in Bourne. His book is referenced with William Stukely, and a gentleman by the name of Peak's. Peaks describes the castle. I have the ISBN number for the book and the page numbers for the references.
