Im sorry if I am doing this incorrectly :D Still new to Wikipedia. The reason I keep reverting the Port Elizabeth wiki back to pre Gqeberha days is because of the way the name was "officially" voted in, I see you're also quite active in South African politics so I dont think I need to explain what happened but im more than happy to do so. TL;DR the name is still not "official official" as the DA and Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality (or atleast the mayor) is fighting to either change the name back to Port Elizabeth or Nelson Mandela city. In the mean time I am reverting it back to Port Elizabeth as the name is still up in the air if that makes sense. Hi @Bubblyheap:. The purpose of the review process is to identify which articles would be likely to be kept, and survive a possible deletion nomination process. There are many articles already on Wikipedia that would be at risk of being deleted, so it's not always a good comparison to look at what's already in mainspace. I think it is necessary to reiterate before I re-submit that the article is based on Wikipedia:Notability (academics) criteria because the subject is a well-known academic. Concretely, he has been elected as a Fellow of the IEEE, the IAPR, the IET and the British Computer Society. Furthermore, he was selected as a ‘Highly Cited Researcher’ by the Web of Science in 2018, 2019 and 2020. Brocchini holds a doctor title from the Sorbonne and regularly collaborates with MSH Paris Nord. Her writings have a larger spectrum than the philosophy of Benjamin. Her five books are are appreciated and recognised by Déotte and other philosophers. She is not a professor. Her career is similar to Benjamin's one. Regarding your change of the ANC shortname, this is causing issues on election articles like 2019 South African general election, where the party name is too long for a single row in the infobox. Shortnames are meant to be short enough to fit properly in templates like this. See, for example, the shortnames of UK political parties in this infobox. The party name must be used in all cases. When it gets changed to an abbreviation everything is inconsistent. Look at the mess for example on Cederberg Local Municipality elections. When you were reverted previously by another editor, you were asked to discuss on the SA politics task force page, so I suggest taking the discussion there if you are proposing a change. I don't know which line you're referring to in the infobox, but I presume there's a way to override it if its important (and from what I see now all your change has accomplished is to make things look inconsistent there as well. Number 57, it may appear so on your screen, but on mine, "Democratic Alliance" is already over two lines, so the basis for your change is not correct. You can try changing your resolution/text size. If you wish to change the scores of SA election articles that use party colour you're of course welcome, but I'll revert the abbreviation changes in the meantime so that the results consistently display the party name, and not an abbreviation. Anyway, I've edited Cederberg Local Municipality elections to show an example of how the tables could be formatted – a template that automatically picks up party colours, as well as calculating the percentages and seat totals. The same format is used on South African general and provincial election articles already. I'll happily convert the other articles as I have an excel sheet that you can copy a table into and it chucks out the code, so it won't take that long.

Are you aware of any other articles that use the shortname templates in tables? Having a long name in the shortname template is non-standard and I'll propose that it be changed at the venue suggested, but other uses should probably be tidied up first. Number 57 Thanks for editing the Cederberg article (and adding the %s), that does seem better. I'll use that template going forward. There are lots of others that should also be edited - Template:Metropolitan elections in South Africa and Template:Municipal elections in the Western Cape at least. For now my focus is on new content related to the current municipal elections. I still don't like the inconsistent use of abbreviations in some cases, party names in others, when the only purpose is to cater for certain screen/font settings, but if it only affects the infoboxes I'm happy to leave it for now. Could you please help me by explaining what kind of references are needed? the page is about a scientific journal. As you can see we are referenced in several known databases, including Scopus and Thomson Reuters (Emerging Sources Citation Index). But is seems that I cannot list those databases as references. To expatiate, I moved it to Draftspace initially primarily due to possible COI reasons, and then I was too preoccupied to start a conversation about a COI with the article creator, secondly I didn’t see the article meeting

WP:NACTOR with the sources in the article (I’m aware of NEXIST) I did a BEFORE (or a google search on them) tbh, I probably should have sent the article to AFD, but if I may, are there any three sources (I’m aware this isn’t policy) you see meeting RS that made you accept and mark the article as reviewed? NACTOR requires multiple lead roles in multiple movies or clinching a prestigious award, neither is the case here so as the nature of the sourcing, so I’m curious to know if you are seeing something i’m not, do you mind explaining your rationale? WP:NACTOR, is that they have had significant roles in multiple notable films, television shows, stage performances, or other productions. Titi Kuti's performance in King of Boys is a minor role and his role in King of Boys:The Return of the King is questionable as to whether it is a 'significant role'. Thank you for the response, I would have gone in-depth on this but I’m currently at work and Dan ardnt has pretty much said all there is to say, their roles in King of Boys or King of Boys 2, is passive at best. Lastly BellaNaija is not only an unreliable source, it is a very unreliable source It is a gossip blog and pretty much self published. You can see here to verify this, as to the other sources, there is a subtle difference between a reliable source and a reliable piece. I believe Dan has already explained the modulations. Had Porter held a position in a university or other academic institution, the policy summarized here "Many scientists, researchers, philosophers and other scholars (collectively referred to as "academics" for convenience) are notably influential in the world of ideas without their biographies being the subject of secondary sources" would easily apply. Please take into consideration the fact that considerable notability is established by translations of some of his books into various European languages.

Reviews of his books are hard to come by for various reasons, the fact that they were published before most publications carrying reviews became available online. There is also considerable boycotting of publications by evangelical Christians in England. In the 1970s, I worked for a large public library, whose acquisition policy includeda wide range of British publishers on a blanket-order basis. Evangelical publishing houses were excluded from this policy. Their output was likely also ignored by reviewing publications. Porter was notable among evangelicals, as the obituary by Duriez indicates.
