I have nominated John A. Smolin, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/John A. Smolin. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Ash (talk) 13:47, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Kish Cypher

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Kish Cypher, you may be blocked from editing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DrEubanks (talkcontribs) 23:35, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at

reverts
on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's

talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. ·Add§hore· Talk To Me! 23:42, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please make sure to include an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! Senator2029 (talk) 23:44, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Kish cypher has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

There has been a longstanding issue with the use of this page as a means of promotion for an obscure cryptographic protocol which is almost totally ignored by the cryptographic community. The topic is primary research, fringe research by cryptographic/security standards, and totally dead in terms of citations/potential research. In my opinion, a random collection of papers like this is not notable enough for a page in wikipedia.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be

deleted for any of several reasons
.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

I put your article up for deletion. Feel free to remove the tag from the article, in which case, we'll go through the more painful
