Harley -- I am pleased to see that you found the article we created on your father. He was one of the great Wolverines, and it's good to see his biography being filled out. I do have a concern, however, that the information you have added is not sourced in the article. For information to be included on Wikipedia, it needs to include citations to verifiable resources. I sometimes find that requirement frustrating, because the knowledge of a family member is in many instances more reliable that old newspaper clippings. Nevertheless, Wikipedia policy considers such first-person accounts to be "original research" which is not permitted. If you have sources for the information, I would greatly appreciate your adding it. Without such sourcing, the information will eventually be deleted. Another huge contribution you could make to the article would be adding a photograph of your father that you would be willing to release to the public domain. I have been unable to find a "free use" (not copyright protected) photograph of your father. We are currently using a "fair use" image from a team photograph, but it would be much better to have a "free use" image. A "fair use" image may be challenged by the copyright holder, and the article would greatly benefit from having a public domain photograph of "Bullet Bob."      Hopefully, this E-mail will find its way to you. I was most pleased with the article that you developed on my Dad, Bullet Bob Westfall. I can see that there was a huge amount of time and effort put into your project which I'm most appreciative for and made me wonder if you have a personal connection to the University of Michigan. Are you an alumnus?
     I attempted to correct some spelling and punctuation today in the article on my Dad and discovered your E-mail response to me from my first revision attempt on 12/17/09. I'm sorry for my delay in getting back to you.
     It was my original attempt to try and "fill in the blanks" with information on my Dad which, hopefully, would enhance the human interest factor regarding his story. As you indicated in your E-mail, much of what I added is from personal knowledge although a good portion is probably verifiable.
     I was hoping that you could assist me as to what needs "citations to verifiable resources." Does this only apply to the statistics and accolades that I added or does this also include some of the historical and biographical information? Could I put down in a subsequent E-mail to you all of the information that I revised or added and get you to respond back as to what needs verification? As to a photograph of my Dad from his playing days at Michigan, how do I determine what is "fair use" and what is "free use"?
     I'm sorry to impose upon you, but I'm hopeful that you can point me in the right direction.I'd like to get as much of my Dad's story into your article as Wikipedia policy will allow.
