Come talk to me, Hephaestos, here. —Preceding undated comment added 04:06, 29 March 2010 (UTC).
Pictures
At this point I really don't care about the status of pictures I've uploaded before notation was standardized. Most are public domain; some are simply conversions of pictures others have uploaded. Given the cavalier picture deletion activities that have evidently occurred while I was on break, I don't feel too bad about this attitude either. - Hephaestos|§ 06:14, 11 Mar 2005 (UTC)
your fr:page
fr:Utilisateur:Hephaestos is a redirect to fr:Utilisateur:Mr. Fuck and seems often vandalised, must we restore the page at his original place and protect it ? please reply on fr:discussion utilisateur:phe phe 05:04, 19 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- I revered a minor vandalism ("fuck", twice) yesterday on Confederation. There was a vandalism on my page on fr: afterwards, "Yeah, right, I said fuck you" (minor too, obvious lack of imagination) signed with your signature on fr: - from an ip of course. Ok, I didn't think for a second you did that. Looks like you have some enemy. Didup 07:54, 21 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Farewell
Sorry to see you getting sick of the place. Le sigh - another good user bites the dust. Ambi 03:28, 3 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Best wishes, Heph, drop a line if you want to get together for a beer sometime. I'll buy. The Uninvited Co., Inc. 02:34, 4 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Hi Hephaestos, sorry to see you go :-( I protected your user page on german wikipedia since someone (Michael?) kept reverting it. Drop me a note on de:Benutzer Diskussion:Elian if you want to unprotect it again. Best wishes, --Elian 01:55, 12 Apr 2005 (UTC)
I didn't know that you had gone. Please come back (even though you are ahead of me in the statistics). Deb 21:57, 14 Apr 2005 (UTC)
missed you
I came to your page because I wanted your opinion of a paragraph that I'd added to Nobel Peace Prize. But you're not here. That's good - there are 314,159,265 better things to do than sit around and edit Wikipedia. You're probably doing at least 27 of them. Cheers, -Willmcw 05:40, Jun 16, 2005 (UTC)
To stop repeated vandalism I have had to protect this page. Apologies for any inconvenience.

What's happening? We're losing you!
My dearest friend John, I left you a Barnstar for all the good work you did in the past, especially fixing what banned user Michael has done before he was unbanned. Hope you enjoy whatever it is you're doing just now. All year's been a sad time since you've been gone and everybody's trying to have no hard feelings about it, yeah I've also been missing you ever since. But, I'm sure things will make you feel so much better when you try to come back again sometime before the end of the year or next year and beyond! Good luck and thank you for being at the 'pedia! 64.12.116.67 16:05, 24 September 2005 (UTC)
The Philadelphia Project
Hi i have noticed that you have edited several articles on subjects related to the Philadelphia area. Several other users and myself have got together to create a project to help improve, expand, and create articles concerning the Philadelphia/Delaware Valley region. While our project is still new, we are inviting people to join us to help it get started off on the right foot. You can find the project at Wikipedia:WikiProject Philadelphia, feel free to add your name and drop off an suggestions that you might have. If you have any questions, drop me a line anytime. Thanks. --Boothy443 | trácht ar 01:36, 29 October 2005 (UTC)
Sympathetic message
If it helps at all I share your sentiment, and I said as much in my RfA. - RoyBoy 800 19:04, 24 November 2005 (UTC)
sympathy
I have been slacking off for a long time, so I entirely missed whatever attacks were made against you. But in case you check your talk page, I want you to know that I have always held you in highest regard, and believe that anything that could lead to your leaving Wikipedia is something all serious editors should know about, care about, and act on. Not that bots can read.
Just delete every image I've ever uploaded here. Every last one of them. Do a bot search and just get rid of them. Screw this project. ~~ —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hephaestos (talk • contribs) 08:02, 24 September 2006 (UTC).

A request for assistance
Would you support the concept of moving the Earhart "myths" to a separate page or article? The reason for my suggesting this is that the main article should be an accurate and scholarly work while the speculation and conspiracy theories surrounding the disappearance of Amelia Earhart are interesting, they belong in a unique section. Most researchers, as you know, discount the many theories and speculation that has arisen in the years following her last flight. Go onto the Earhart discussion page and register your vote/comments...and a Happy New Year to you as well. Bzuk 02:50 3 January 2007 (UTC).

Baby farming
Hi
New to wikipedia. I remember way back when (all my hair was the same colour and didn't have to fill out a tax return) an article that was produced to us in colledge titled "Baby Farming" written by one of the greate satarists/poets of the victorian era.
Mainly proported as a way that the poor could supliment their income by having children and solve the food shortage at the same time. So well done with facts, figures and elequent reason that the satire went over everyones head and was actualy debated in the Common's. Trying to track it down because I would like to show it to a few people who seem to have reverted to the Victorian reason and logic over humanitaryism philosophy. That and it was just a bloody good hoot.
Any help muchly apreciated.
Kind Regards

File source problem with File:AlbertLebrun.jpeg
Thanks for uploading File:AlbertLebrun.jpeg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on

Suspension of admin privileges due to inactivity
Following a community discussion in June 2011, consensus was reached to provisionally suspend the administrative privileges of users who have been inactive for one year, meaning administrators who have made neither any edits nor any logged actions in over one year. As a result of this discussion, your administrative privileges have been removed pending your return. If you wish to have these privileges reinstated, please post to the Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard and the userright will be restored per the re-sysopping process (i.e., as long as the attending bureaucrats are reasonably satisfied that your account has not been compromised and that your inactivity did not have the effect of evading scrutiny of any actions which might have led to sanctions). This removal of access is procedural only, and not intended to reflect negatively upon you in any way. We wish you the best in future endeavors, and thank you for your past administrative efforts.
