Suggestion for notability tagging
Hi Hermera34! When you add a {{notability}} tag on an article, could you please try to use a parameter to point to the specific guideline? For example, on An Ember in the Ashes I changed the tag to {{notability|books}}
so it links to the notability guideline for books. Similarly, on Sabaa Tahir I changed the tag to {{notability|bio}}
so it links to the notability guideline for biographies. (See the entire list of parameters at Template:Notability.) Hopefully this will encourage the article creator to read the appropriate guideline and improve the article accordingly. Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 01:52, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
CEO's of Multi-Billion Dollar Company's not Notable?
Hey Hermera, I was curious as to why you added the {{notability}} tag on the Neil Smit article. He's the CEO of a Fortune 50 company, a billionaire and a former U.S. Navy SEAL. I am removing the tag and suggesting you review the notability guideline for biographies. Thanks for cleaning up the info box though. I'd appreciate your further positive collaboration on the development of the article. Tadpole256 (talk) 14:25, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
- You also added {{BLP unsourced}} when the article contained two references. {{BLP sources}} would have been more appropriate. Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 02:55, 12 September 2015 (UTC)
