Wikipedia is not here to spread your personal fame. By contributing to an article you agree that it is in the public domain. I already deleted your attribution, and you added it back. Peculiarly, after I scanned it into English rhyme and made the rhymes better. I also, for example, linked up the kind of rhyme it is. So if you claim, then I claim the right as a derivative work. But that is total nonsense because Wikipedia will not accept either.

I suggest you stop putting your personal stamp on this article. My native Hungarian wife and I have gone through the article in the Magyar and English versions, improved it, and all you have done is to add your personal promotion back.

WP:PROD
under those grounds if you continue.

You could be happy that a Hungarian and an Englishman have improved the article, instead you choose to insert your promo again that we removed. Please learn how to use Wikipedia properly. I know this behaviour on HU:WP is not tolerated, so please take pride in the article you made and trust to English native speakers to put it into good English. Don't rely on the German as a third arm there, because the links are bad. The translator and I both understand German and a few other languages, so there is no excuse there, we checked them before you did.

I understand that it is your own work. Under
WP:RS
it is not really acceptable because it would need to be published in a third-party, reliable source for it to to be notable (which is not to say that you, yourself have to be notable). That being said, I see really little harm in it being here, and perhaps some good, because it emphasises the point that these are written to order.
By the way it is not written entirely by you, since I changed a few words to make it rhyme and scan better.

I removed it under
WP:V also covers it. I have no doubt youc composed it, but unfortunately if it is not verifiable it does not stand. I would prefer that it did, without the attribution, but if you insist on that then I cannot let it stand in that form. We looked at translating some of the others from hu:Vőfély but they do not fit the style of English Wikipedia and would be changed out of recognition in the English. For an example of my suggestions of translating Latin poetry, see Talk:Archers Hall
.
I can do most poetic styles or at least English ones, in faithful translation, it is the attribution that is the difficulty.
My very best wishes. Si Trew (talk) 13:18, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
