Persian Sea

Please read

WP:COMMONNAME - this kind of nationalistic change to widely understood names is disruptive and detrimental to reader understanding. Wikipedia isn't a platform to change names - Wikipedia will reflect the change if the common name changes, and may acknowledge that there is more than one name in other languages. @User:Acroterion you use fake name used by european colonists. arabs don’t even know what a map is let alone naming a sea after them. it’s not disruptive to make clear the name is fake like the fake fictional ‘Arabian gulf’ name used by saudi and their western friends, nothing is named after arabs except for their desrt peninsula. everything else is either fake or a arabization after islamic conquests. Please read user @Basp1 edits he make good point and the website Persiangulfstudies.com is a good acdemic source of understanding and refuting arabs(saudi) and their western puppet masters. finally stop rev disrupting the article with your Arabist agenda please and be fair.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to

punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Personal attacks are never 'deserved'. They are prohibited by policy, and are never appropriate; nor is it ever appropriate to threaten to use sockpuppets to evade a block. GirthSummit (blether) 05:58, 18 May 2021 (UTC)a[reply]
