Better source request for File:Kerry edwards new pic.png

Thanks for uploading File:Kerry edwards new pic.png. You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. --Geniac (talk) 01:18, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Iron law of performance

Your move summary said "Use sentence case", but you put it back to title case, contrary to

WP:NCCAPS. I fixed. Dicklyon (talk) 04:03, 11 March 2021 (UTC)[reply
]

I think it counts as a proper noun, I put in a move request. ツ indolering (talk)

You reverted my fix without engaging in this discussion. Please explain your thinking. Dicklyon (talk) 01:39, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I responded after I changed it. Do you see my message above?ツ indolering (talk)
I didn't. It ran into my own comment. I've re-formatted. Take a look at Category:Rules_of_thumb for related concepts. Dicklyon (talk) 01:48, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Also, starting a
WP:RMTR request, which presumes "uncontroversial", after a move has been reverted, is not OK. Dicklyon (talk) 01:52, 12 March 2021 (UTC)[reply
]
My apologies, I was asking for guidance on that point and I thought the "uncontroversial" bit had to do with articles flagged as controversial. FWIW, I agree with you assessment, but could you change it to "Iron law of processor performance"? I can also put in a different controversial change request....

Church Attendance and Welfare Spending Graph

Hi Indolering, while I totally appreciate such figures, this one is somewhat useless without defining "welfare spending". That's not your fault as the authors of the linked paper do not have an explanation in their legend either (which is inexcusable!). I would tend to remove the figure unless you can figure out what they are actually talking about (it's probably explained in the paper somewhere). While the scale suggests that welfare spending is going up from left to right, it could also mean the opposite (unlikely, but possible), depending on that definition. Peteruetz (talk) 01:56, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Can you link to the material that you are talking about, I don't remember it exactly. ツ indolering (talk) 11:35, 21 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
