In addition, please be aware of Wikipedia's policy on English variants (see

MOS:ENGVAR), and be careful about changing wording and punctuation with regards to that. At Norman Hossack you changed "BMW were" to "BMW was". This is a minor quibble, and I'm leaving the wording as-is, but it is common in British English to treat companies as plural nouns, so the original wording was not incorrect.
