Disambiguation link notification for October 19
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 71st (Highland) Regiment of Foot, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cowpens (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Addition to Lord Uxbridge's leg
Hey! First, I want to thank you for your recent addition of an alternative account of Uxbridge and Wellington's exchange to Lord Uxbridge's leg. It's a really valuable addition and definitely improves the article! However, when I followed the link you gave as a reference, I couldn't find the quote or anything about Horace Seymour at all. Did you link the wrong thing by accident? If so, can you provide the correct reference? Thanks for your help for this, and thanks again for the addition. Happy editing! A2soup (talk) 07:47, 8 May 2016 (UTC)
- I see you amended the link in the reference - thanks for that! However, the new link results in "page not found" for me. It looks like the middle of the URL might have gotten replaced by an ellipsis somehow. Do you think you could edit it to include the full link? Thanks! A2soup (talk) 03:54, 9 May 2016 (UTC)
I will explore this when I have some time. The pdf. link apparently no longer appears on the relevant website, Waterloo 200. But on a google search page it appears here and down loads successfully: https://www.google.es/search?q=http://waterloo200.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Wellington_and_Uxbridge.pdf.&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&gws_rd=cr&ei=iAExV6yfHcfWU7DfkMgK JF42 (talk) 21:33, 9 May 2016 (UTC)
- Wonderful, that link works for me. I'll try to find a way to cite it in the article and let you know if I make it work. Thanks for your help and for your addition to the article! A2soup (talk) 00:09, 10 May 2016 (UTC)
