Welcome!

Hello, Jackallenh, and

welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions
.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

{{Help me}}

Hi EatShoots&Leaves!

Thanks for the message. I'm unsure if I actually "published" that page yesterday... I was simply working away at it, and was simultaneously reading best practices in terms of publishing something about our company. It wasn't meant to go public yet.

I'll now work my way though your article suggestions.

I looked at this Wikipedia in terms of structuring what SSENSE's should look like: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Net-a-Porter

Could you perhaps verify whether or not SSENSE is "notable" enough for a Wikipedia page?

On the Iggy Azalea page, our collaboration with her is mentioned:

In April 2012, via her Twitter feed, Azalea announced plans to release an extended play (EP) entitled Glory, later in May: "I'm just onto something right now, the last two weeks and it's glory. Azaleans need something new."[25] Also in April, Azalea starred alongside Grammy-nominated producer Diplo and FKi in the world's first fully interactive 'shoppable' music video for Canadian fashion retailer, SSENSE.[26]

This wasn't, to my knowledge, built into her Wiki by any of us here at SSENSE. Does this accomplishment make SSENSE notable in Wiki's eyes?

Thanks Jack

EDIT: Here's my work in progress: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Jackallenh/sandbox/SSENSE

Obviously still need an image for the page :)

Jack, sorry I didn't see this sooner. The company at this point does nto meet the very specific criteria set forth in
our notability requirements for business, based not only on the info you provided, but some digging I have done myself ES&L 11:13, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply

{{Help me}}

No worries about the delay. Thanks for getting back to me about the business, and for doing some digging yourself!

We are launching a number of initiatives throughout 2014 to increase our "notability" (not only for the sake of Wikipedia!) I was wondering if I might resubmit in a couple months once these things kick off the ground.

I'll continue to familiarize myself with Wiki and Wiki best practices, thanks for your help for now, ES&L.

Best, Jack

For the "helpme" to work, you have to remove the "tlc" from it :-) "Notability" has nothing to do with products you have released, as per the
WP:MEAT). At some point when the company meets notability guidelines, someone independent will write about it - most companies wish that Wikipedia didn't have an article about them because it usually highlights "issues" rather than benefits ES&L 16:26, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply
