You are making wholesale reversions and edits to the article without any discussion at all on the talk page, please stop and open up a discussion to see if there is any support for your edits, 00:06, 4 November 2009 (UTC)

Again I am asking you to join in on the discussion page and to stop reverting without discussion, edit summaries are not places for discussion.

Would you also please explain to me this indefinate block on a userpage attached to your page? here.

]

Thanks for commenting, discussion is very important here, the article was locked recently for revert warring, and if the reverting continues it will be locked again, at the moment there are multiple reverts occurring and it is better to ask on the talk page for opinions as from other editors for what you want to add or remove. Try to apprecate that there are other editors that hold the opposite opinion of this guy to you and both sides of the story should be included in the article. Thanks. ]

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.

Edit warring warning

It looks like you have been involved in a long term edit war at

three revert rule which prohibits editors from making more than three reverts to the same page within 24 hours. Violation of this rule can lead to you being blocked from editing. You should also be aware of the more general policy surrounding edit warring
. Even if the three revert rule is not being broken directly, editors can be blocked for engaging in edit wars.

If you have problems with changes made by other editors and you seem to be heading towards an edit war, please start a discussion on the disputed changes on the article's talk page. If you are unable to resolve the problem there, see your available options for

dispute resolution

Where editors violate the 3RR or are engaged in edit warring, they can be reported at the

edit warring noticeboard
, where an administrator will evaluate the problem and take action as necessary.

The article

fully protected for 1 week in an attempt to defuse the edit war taking place there. Please do not engage in further disruption when the protection expires. As you have now been made aware of the policy, you can and will be blocked if the problems persist. --GraemeL (talk) 18:25, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply
]

I've made a suggestion over at Talk:Edward Wyckoff Williams, which you might like to consider addressing while the article is protected from editing. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 18:44, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I see you're working on the talk page of the article to get a consensus going, that's good. The other user, who was impersonating your account with the addition of a 2 had been blocked in case you didn't know. They will probably come back as an anon IP again, or as a newly created account once the autoblock expires. Another place to post for help if you run into problems like this again on a biography of a living person is the

biographies of living people noticeboard. It's a good place to get uninvolved people to help build a consensus on biography articles where there aren't enough editors to the article to sort one out without additional input. --GraemeL (talk) 20:22, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply

Thank you very much for this information. I completely support the Wikipedia guidelines and will pledge to follow them. James.DC (talk) 20:26, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Heidi Albertsen, Lower Eastside Service Center, May 2009.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Heidi Albertsen, Lower Eastside Service Center, May 2009.jpg, which you've sourced to Heidi Albertsen. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at

non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags
for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Replaceable fair use File:Photo of model Heidi Albertsen.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Photo of model Heidi Albertsen.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that this media item is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media item could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media item is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to
    di-replaceable fair use disputed
    }}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the file discussion page, write the reason why this media item is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 19:16, 23 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "
