Venting

Hi Jay. I saw that you pasted your Twitter thread in a few talk pages. I certainly don't blame you for venting because the whole situation really is absolutely bloody horrible but it isn't going to do any good pasting it into Wikipedia like that. Article talk pages are meant to be for focused discussion on how to improve the articles and not that many people read them anyway. So, what can you do? If you could get some

reliable source to republish your thread, or something derived from it, then that would elevate it into something that could potentially be referenced in Wikipedia articles, as well as getting the message out to a wider audience. Failing that, just keep on with the Twitter. That thread got a lot engagement there. People are listening. You are making a difference. Anyway, please try to take care of yourself. It has to get better, eventually. --DanielRigal (talk) 03:31, 19 November 2020 (UTC)[reply

While I have no way to be certain, I think it is likely that this account really is (or rather was) that of Jay Hulme. The other account you mention seems never to have been used for editing. I doubt that this is impersonation or anything else nefarious. Most likely the older account was registered and then forgotten about and then this account registered, used briefly and then also abandoned. --DanielRigal (talk) 23:37, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@DanielRigal: Given the nature of the edits from this account, this needs to be looked at carefully. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 01:09, 24 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
