I am not able to understand what you want to add to the South 24 Parganas pages. Do you want to write the history of South 24 Parganas as a whole or about places in South 24 Parganas? However, I would like to comment on the citation in the Harinavi page. Nowadays, it is desirable to have in-line cites. Earlier, I had used general references as in the biography pages. I will have to work again to convert those pages into ones with inline cites. My advice to those starting new is to start with inline cites only. Take for example the Cossipore page where I have used full inline cites both from books and the Internet. In the Saptagram page I have used inline cites mostly from books. The cite is a reference to what is written, i.e. if somebody wants he can verify what you are writing from the references. Now take the Harinavi case. Harinavi is not a ‘census town’ and it does not appear anywhere in the census records you have quoted. It is probably part of Rajpur-Sonarpur for census and election purposes. Where is it mentioned? Do you have any references for that? You have mentioned three books as reference. These books have something about Harinavi, but nothing of what is there on the Harinavi page is mentioned in the books. The mere mention of a place does not make it a proper reference. What you write must be supported by the cite. If you are interested in developing town pages, please go through Wikipedia:WikiProject Indian cities. That will be of some help. I do not know if I have been able to explain things properly. Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~). You will usually find the tildes at the top left hand side corner of your key board. Regards. - P.K.Niyogi (talk) 11:54, 9 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 09:29, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I find that you want to use user boxes on your page. Please study Wikipedia:Userboxes and I think things will be a bit easier for you. As regards photographs, you cannot upload copyrighted material. However, photographs older than 100 years are copyright free. You have to mention this in the description column. Regarding source, merely saying 'from a book' normally will not do. You have to be more specific. Mention the name of the book. If it was published more than 60 years ago, mention the date of publication. As per Indian copyright laws some pictures can be used 60 years after publication. There is plenty of information on this in Wikipedia. Study these to avoid pictures being deleted. Thanks for uploading Image:Atul kulkarni.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before

A page you created, Runa Rizvi, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for biographies in particular.
You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our

Thanks for uploading or contributing to fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 09:52, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I noticed you;ve begun developing the Bengali films by year. I don't mind as long as you do actually create these pages and don't leave them red-linked. Your're doing a great job with starting these films but some words of advice. Don't category the films as Bengali cinema 2008. I've deleted these categories and the convention at
The Telegraph is definately acceptable, the other is likely to be OK too given the lack of sites covering Bengali film. Now keep those lists coming!

Thanks for writing me. I am sorry but I can hardly help you with this. Though I am a fluent speaker, I have practically no knowledge of the Oriya alphabet. Hopefully you will find a user who can help you. Thank you. Shobhit102 | talk 16:13, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hi - I have never actually been involved with that particular infobox, so I wouldn't really know how to specifically help with your request. You may want to discuss the matter at the infobox's talk page, or look at the template's edit history to see which editors have been actively involved in the infobox's development. Best luck, Girolamo Savonarola (talk) 00:29, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not.
