About the
Philip Starck
page

Welcome to Wikipedia! Yes, the

Philip Starck page is a redirection to Philippe Starck (the French designer), and that's not a mistake: many people call him that way. I realize there are plenty of other people called "Philip Starck" or other spelling variations, but none of them seem to satisfy the Wikipedia notability guidelines, so unless you find reliable source showing otherwise, it is best to leave the redirect as it is. (A personal web page does not qualify as reliable source. An anthology of contemporary American poetry with a short bio on the others might, however.) Also, if you do find such reliable source, before you create the page, please note how Wikipedia pages on living people are written so as not to resemble a vanity page of sorts, how disambiguation links are made, etc. Actually, if you want to contribute to Wikipedia, I suggest starting with something a little less ambitious than creating a page from scratch. (And of course, if you happen to know the Philip Starck in question, then you had probably best abstain altogether.) --Gro-Tsen (talk) 11:48, 11 July 2012 (UTC)[reply
