Apology and S-VHS
Dear JEH,
Fist, I want to apologise for getting my temper raised at you. It was unchrist like, and I am sorry. As I can assume from the fact you sent that link to the Wikipedia page on article competence, you and I both want Wikipedia to be the best it can be as a place for people to get correct information and a quality experience. I also see you are a father, so congrats. As to S-VHS I started a talk section about that. Thank you for your work on Wikipedia!

- Please see WP:BRD. It was correct for you to start a talk page section. But "D", "discuss", means a conversation. It does not mean "explain your edits further on the talk page and then go on to edit the article back the way you want it." Your edit re S-VHS resolution was flat-out wrong and had you bothered to read the reply I made on the talk page, maybe you would have learned better earlier.
- What I would like to see from you is not an apology for raising your temper, but an apology for quite apparently not reading the reply I wrote to you before re-asserting your erroneous edit - or, if you did read it, then an apology for continuing to assert your wrong ideas in the article rather than continuing the talk page discussion you started.
