RETIRED PERMANENTLY
This user is no longer active on Wikipedia as of March 2022 I am an individual who has earned multiple journalism degrees, has a new paid off car, my own place in which I live, job where I can work whenever I want and wherever I want. I am very blessed and could be doing many things with my time. And yet, I spent countless hours of my time when I wasn't dealing with my job on this website addressing articles that were a mess of unsourced content, poorly written content to deal with many a kind editors. Occasionally, I came across a troll here or there who did not want to discuss, just flat remove an edit contentiously with a poor edit summary. At a moment's notice when I felt trolled, I let said editors know that I will gladly leave and that usually resolved it because most editors know that losing quality content editors as Wikipedia isn't a good thing for this company's future--a company that relies on free edits and generosity of others. I'm in no passionate dedication to remain here at Wikipedia edit warring back and forth with trolls. Not getting paid, this isn't a job. At a moment's notice, editors choose to be obnoxious, I'm gone. Simple as that. If it's too hard to look at an editor's long list of contributions, give them the respect of discussing before a troll removal or going to a talkpage as User Czello did here [1], bye bye Wikipedia! I don't do games!.

Return

I'll agree the site is really going through a challenging time. Please return even if it's only sporadically. Czello has been on the site for 13 years and knows better than to encourage you to "retire"; it's silly stuff.Pictureperfect2 (talk) 10:37, 28 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I just realized they got rid of you from a message sent to my channel from some other user, making a point to spread news of your ban, why I am not sure. I tried returning and even ended up with a week block, so I am not apart of the Wikipedia cool kids either. When it's time to go, it's time to go. I'm permanently resigning the website due to the clique culture, which ironically enough the website seems to long recognize as a problem but doesn't do anything about. I am nearing 1000 subscribers on my YouTube channel which I decided to bring back with a new video this past week after years of absence and requests from my subscribers for a new edition. If you ever get this, please know that there are better online ways to make your voice heard and disseminate your message. This is the era of social media so you don't have to bother with a site plagued by clique culture and pettiness. You might be surprised to learn, as was I, from talks with friends and co-workers in the past week is that this site actually isn't even all that popular. I tried to complain about it to friends and co-workers and I kept hearing back "I didn't even know you could edit that website. Is that really a thing? I never go on it!" I said to myself 'forget the clique culture and faulty blocks. I am not getting recognition for my edits because it's pretty obscure by most people.' Why the constant need for charity donations I guess. The clique culture and alienation from it's in-crowd I can only thank for fueling me to bring back my YouTube channel in a big way. Please follow in my lead and start up a YouTube channel or popularize a blog, tiktok, or what have you. There's so many options now. Wishing you a fellow happy wiki-exit! :D JudgeJudyCourthouse25 (talk) 10:16, 18 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
