Blue links

This discussion is about links to user talk pages being in blue text. Get it? Haha.

It's humor. Killa.be (talk) 04:31, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This kind of activity is considered spamming and forbidden by policies, and also violates our username policy.

However, if you feel that there has been a mistake in your blocking, please appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below or email the administrator who blocked you. Your reason should include your response to this issue and a new username you wish to adopt that does not violate our username policy (specifically, understand that accounts are for individuals, not companies or groups, and that your username should reflect this). Please check that your new username has not already been taken by checking this list. Tiptoety talk 04:58, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I'm not a spam machine, nor a corporation. Anyone in their right mind could see that.

Is it really necessary to block everyone with a site link in their profile? It disgusts me. I can see maybe flagging a user so an admin can check them out later on, but seriously, this is way too extreme.

Anyway, I am a real person, I swear to God. The user contribution page for my IP address is Special:Contributions/72.76.28.224, and you can tell from my current user contribution page that I made a legitimate edit within minutes of registering.

Yet somehow, my account is "blatant advertising". This is utter bullshit, and I mean that in the least respectful way possible. Wikipedia can suck a dick.

Decline reason:

Abusive requests are always declined.  Sandstein  06:03, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I got banned from Wikipedia less than a half-hour after registering

That's got to be a new record!

No surprise...

Wikipedia is run by faggot-ass basement dwelling losers.
