Ivo Shandor

In case you don't see my post at Talk:Ghostbusters.

You said: As I recall, Paul Rubens was originally considered to play 'Ivo Shandor', the building's designer, and I'm pretty sure that appeared in both the script and some storyboards in 'Making Ghostbusters', the behind-the-scenes book. I'd say it's a worthy entry.

I was wondering if you had full citation info for that book, author, publisher, title, year, publisher city, page numbers. I was hoping to use it for the

Ivo Shandor article I am trying to expand to GA, any other pertinent info from the book would be helpful too. If you have it at all, I mean. IvoShandor 10:56, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply

Gargoyles

I'm not sure I follow, spam-ads? I could understand it they were links to fan forums that were of little true rellevance, or fanfic sites... but I feel it's different when it's the creator's blog, and the main Gargoyles convention. Surely those are the things permissible under the Wiki guidelines? -Kingpin1055 16:36, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not entirely. The Gargoyles Convention's link does not add any more detail than that already on the article's section. The site is not very informative, as it is mainly directed to publicize and attract people to the event, and therefore it's usage, here on Wikipedia, borderlines spam-ads. As for as Ask Greg site, which it's not entirely a creator's blog (it's a site moderated by fans, where the creator answers screened questions), there are already links on the references sections, so there's no need to have it on the external links section, per
WP:EL. --Alex Nought 13:34, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply

Yeah, they were bizarre and only scarcely related to the subject at hand, assertions like that not backed by references, only the ramblings of the apparently insane, are always suspect ;) The consistent personal attacks didn't help his cause either. Is that who it is? This Nilges guy? Even weirder. IvoShandor 13:30, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline
is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. On George Barris

Your right. George had nothing to do with altering the Lincoln Futura into the "Batmobile". He hired Dean Jeffries to do the job and took the credit himself. Perhaps if George were to lay behind his shop for several years and allowed to deteriorate, he would increase in value. The fact that the Futura was vandalized to create a childish farce speaks volumes about him. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.43.180.138 (talk) 17:02, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
