WP:Good Article, which means it is to be used as an example of how an article should look and also means it is now scrutinized more than some other articles. Anyways, please continue editing as your other contributions are technically sound. Any questions, contact me. Furthermore note that I added a short sentence to the end of the section as what I thought was your general point was relevant (a HDMI port ⇏ playable protected content) -- KelleyCook (talk) 16:05, 9 January 2009 (UTC) KelleyCook (talk) 16:05, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply

I politely disagree about

WP:POV
. I think that the article fails to recognize that there are many people out there who actually have problems using HDMI on their PC the way that they had hoped to, and the way that marketing has made them believe that they can. I dont think that this is my POV talking, but an objective fact.

The mere fact that such struggles are not described in scientific papers but in discussion forums and on blogs does not warrant biasing an article in the direction of overly positive manufacturer reports.

I also think that the Anantech article that still is quoted in other parts of the HDMI-article is the best thing in the way of reputable sources, and I actually found coverage for most of the statements there. Do you think that it is fair to quote only positive parts of an article, neglecting negatives?

Your points about where to put this info are valid, although it is an interop-issue between Bluray, PCs and HDMI. I really cant see why it belongs more to one or the other, since it is the combination of all three that is relevant. The question is: if there is a real problem with the three, should wikipedia fail to mention it because it is difficult to place? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Knutinh (talkcontribs)
