Disruptive User on the Defense of Sihang Warehouse Page

There's been an issue with the "Defense of Sihang Warehouse" wikipedia page which I recently posted a series of edits to. There is a user by the name of Adachi1939 who has been continuously (by his own words) "butchering" the page. While he claims to be using the most reliable and accurate source (singular) on hand (an antiquated niche Japanese naval report), he has for the past four months been deleting and reverting other users edits and sources that contradict his own, lambasting them as "Chinese propaganda" and "fantasies," a series of which were mine.

His talk page has received complaints as well, with other users attempting to discuss these issues with him, or at least compromise on some points of disagreement, yet he has continuously refused to compromise (in a rather hostile manner) and continued to delete and revert all edits against his position (his being that the battle was fueled by Chinese propaganda and that the Japanese only committed a minute effort to the battle).

His declaration of "I am the infamous butcher of the Defense of Sihang Warehouse article" on his user page, continuous hostile and aggressive remarks towards other users (which one can see on his personal talk page and the Defense of Sihang Warehouse talk page), and his continuous reverting all edits made and lambasting of all alternative perspectives (with my edits being labeled "unsubstantiated Chinese propaganda" despite my multitude of sources originating primarily from Western, Chinese and Japanese published, peer-reviewed and certified sources) have severely hampered the decorum and of flow. Since I respect the public domain and contributions of Wikipedia, I am dismayed by he actions of this user. All in all, I would like to request some admin attention to this issue, as Adachi1939's behavior has been quite disruptive and harmful to the historiography of the Defense of Sihang Warehouse page, and the Wikipedia community as a whole.

I have blocked the account from editing for a week. Please feel welcome to contact me if the problem continues. JBW (talk) 14:23, 17 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi JBW, I just wanted to follow up on the disruptive user Adachi1939 (a.k.a the Butcher of the Defense of Sihang Warehouse Article by his own word) who was just recently unbanned.
Adachi1939 has not only undone all of my edits to the page, but the edits of numerous other subsequent users (including those simply making revisions to punctuation and grammar), all whilst claiming that he is (by his own words) "Restor[ing] to a historically verifiable version of the article," and claiming that all our sources are "extremely exaggerated without any Japanese sources provided to verify their claims, instead relying heavily on Chinese accounts of the event that ignore Chinese sources."
My sources include works from certified historians and scholars including Peter Harmsen, Stephen Robinson and Satoshi Hattori, as well as primary source newspapers and photographs from 1937, accounts from British and American citizens in Shanghai, Chinese AND Japanese military accounts and more, whilst Adachi1939's sources revolve around a single niche Japanese source, which he has reconfigured the entire page around time and time again (four months as the logs show).
I want to clarify that I am not seeking an ownership approach to the Defense of Sihang Warehouse article, I am simply frustrated that Adachi1939 has consistently undone all dissenting voices without nuance, civility or cordial dialogue for four months.
Whilst I was considering opening dialogue with Adachi1939, I became rather reluctant to do so after seeing his past hostile interactions with other users like Kapitan318, with examples being "If you are able to do this your research has no basis and your changes are not welcomed on the article (I doubt he's an admin)," "Do we talk about historicial propaganda fairy tales here or actual history?" and accusing one user of being illiterate. He ended on the Sihang Warehouse article talk page by saying "as it stands there is not any justification for altering the Japanese order of battle or casualty figures beyond pro-Chinese historical negationism."
I apologize for bothering you, but I simply just wanted to inform you of the damage Adachi1939 (which he seems to take pride in based on his talk page) has been doing even after being banned. I want to collaborate and have a constructive discourse, but the way Adachi1939 has being doing things (for four months), I simply cannot see any feasible way to do that. I have blocked the account for a month, for returning to the same edit-war which led to the previous block. I have no opinion at all as to the rights and wrongs of the dispute about content of the article, and the block is purely for edit-warring. JBW (talk) 21:28, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Understood, thank you for your time. KresyRise (talk) 21:32, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Just reminding you I am always open to discuss this. For whatever reason you have made no effort to explain why you have made a number of contributions which your citations did not support. You are welcome to edit the Sihang Warehouse page or any other page, I do not own it. I just ask as a Wikipedia user operating in good faith that likewise your citations actually support your contributions. Adachi1939 (talk) 21:01, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ownership Approach on the Sihang Warehouse Page

I just want to give a heads on the user Adachi1939, who seems to be pursuing an ownership approach on the Sihang Warehouse page.

Virtually every single edit I've made since he restarted editing the page has been undone on the grounds of "false citations," (including spelling and sentence reformatting), usually accompanied by ad hominem attacks and insults in the talk page or edit history. The fact that Adachi usually undoes my edits only hours after they're made after suggests a very possessive attitude, and the heavy presence of original research and lack of neutrality in his edits makes that a chronic issue.

I don't have the time or desire to edit war over one article, and I'm tired of seeing angry demands and insults from him in my notifications every time I login. While I've muted him at this point, I suspect this behavior won't stop with me, given he has acted this way with other users who have disagreed with him on the page before (check his personal talk page and the Sihang Warehouse talk page for more details).

I just figured I should give a final heads up on this situation, and request some admin assistance or attention on this issue. I don't want any other prospective editors to be spurned by Adachi's surveillance and attitude towards the article's content. KresyRise (talk) 14:55, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I understand. My issue wasn't because I disagreed contributions to the page, but his constant use of ad hominem attacks and indiscriminate undoing of dissenting arguments in the name of "false citations" (he previously used propaganda). I just figured you should be aware of this issue if any other users bring this to light. KresyRise (talk) 20:31, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
