{{help me}}
Hi Drmies,
Thank you for your message. I do, indeed, need help editing an article that I have added to Wikipedia. It has been deemed an "orphan", so I'm trying to create links for it. The subject has written a book that I have tried to link with Dante Alighieri article, but my addition has been undone. Therefore, I tried to link my subject under the Inferno article. I would greatly appreciate any help. Since I"m green at this I also don't understand what you mean by discussion page. Is it the page where I do my edit?
thank you....M2arturi (talk) 15:37, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Inf XXXI 34-51 illust GNU.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Inf XXXI 34-51 illust GNU.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or

You can find a sample permission letter OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. ☼ 15:27, 19 March 2011 (UTC)

Question about article
Dear Wikipedia,
Last May, I created an article Anthony Cristiano. Recently, while editing and adding information to the artcile, I was sent a message saying that because the article is of a living person I would need sources and/or references. I'm not sure how I would go about doing this since the information given to me was from the person that the article was based. Thank you for your time. RegardsM2arturi (talk) 16:50, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
- M2arturi, first of all, in my edit summaries, I have explained in some detail why the links I removed should not remain in the article. Some of them are dead, some of them deliver nothing, and others are not to sites or articles that meet the requirements of WP:RS; Google Books might be a good place to start, if you're not in a library right now. In all honesty, I searched already and found little indication that your subject is notable enough for inclusion--see, for instance, the guidelines in Wikipedia:Notability. Good luck, and let me know if I can help. Drmies (talk) 16:55, 19 March 2011 (UTC)]
- Oh, in reference to the question above: "discussion page" is usually the talk page: Talk:Anthony Cristiano. Drmies (talk) 16:57, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
