MFCCs

Hi - thanks for your edit to the

Mel frequency cepstral coefficient article. You're right that MFCCs don't include any kind of loudness modelling, but why do you say "unlike the sonogram"? I don't know of any meaning of "sonogram" that includes loudness or outer-ear modelling. "Sonogram" usually just refers to a spectrogram, which simply shows log-magnitude from fourier transforms. --mcld 10:34, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply
