Harry Cassidy
Why did you speedy delete Harry Cassidy? You should have reverted it to when it was about a real person. Next time check the history!Homey 10:49, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
- You are right and my mistake—I guess the combination of the vandalized article and the pet name ("Harry") in the Lemma threw me off. However, I did not speed-delete the article but merely put up the request. Maikel 16:15, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
Re: Vandal
My pleasure. I just happened to run across a vandalized article at the right moment! That IP seems to be a grade school district, so I can't say I'm surprised that a lot of vandalism was coming from it. --Captaindan 13:21, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Bulletproof vest
Hi, I was just curious if there was a reason you deleted several references from the Bulletproof vest article. I haven't looked through all of them yet, but the first few seemed to be on topic and from reliable sources. --Onorem 11:30, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for asking, this is very strange!
- 1. I have deleted references to two institutions which were said to be currently developing "ultrastrong but ultralight" materials as they were nonencyclopedic and essentially advertising. Lots of institutions everywhere are developing lots of stuff, but noone can know in advance whether their efforts will come to fruition.
- 2. Those other changes ... are not mine. I didn't throw out the categories nor the references (<ref>), these edits are definitely not mine. This is VERY odd. I can only explain it with a inconsistency in the database. I also didn't change the "the late" bit.
- I'm puzzled. Maikel 11:47, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

Lord of the Dance (hymn)
I'm sure your recent edits to Lord of the Dance (hymn) were good faith. But they lost a significant chunk of material and references that had shed some useful light on the hymn. So I have reverted the edit-set. Feline Hymnic (talk) 17:18, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for your muted reaction and your feedback. You are absolutely entitled to the revert. I had actually copied the removed segment to the discussions page and gave a three-point argumentation why I had removed it. I see from the discussions page history that somehow this didn't register. Maybe I only previewed it but failed to save it. Drat! Maikel (talk) 19:55, 23 August 2008 (UTC)

If the material is available on a different site that satisfies one of the above conditions, you might want to link to that site instead. Sites such as mtv.com have been gradually increasing the number of lyrics they display legally, with proper compensation to the artists. If these lyrics are not currently displayed there, perhaps eventually they will be. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:22, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

You made this edit: [1], in which you described the book as an satire. Are you sure it is? I couldn't find anything to verify this claim. Could you? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.23.17.161 (talk) 22:11, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for coming back to me, stranger.
- I've read the book and I think that the label "satire" is in keeping with the definition given here in Wikipedia.

Articles for deletion nomination of StealthNet
I have nominated StealthNet, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/StealthNet. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current

Hi there,
I attempted to address your concerns regarding the confusing version numbering. Here is my comment on the Talk page:
And here is the Specifications section with the updated (hopefully less confusing) headings:
Do you have any advice on how it could be further improved?
