Glossop at Drones

I recall reading some Wodehouse story or other many years ago where some character or other was mentioned as having done something or other with Sir Roderick Glossop at the Drones Club...but all I recall is that it was not a Blandings story.Sorry...12.144.5.2 (talk) 01:39, 7 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No need to be sorry. I've looked through the various Wodehouse reference books that I own (Who's Who in Wodehouse, for example) and none of them say that Sir Roderick is a Drones Club member, but they do mention that he is a member of the Demosthenes Club, which is located across the street from the Drones, so maybe that's what you're thinking of. How do I introduce myself?

Hello, I am new to Wikipedia and I notice you are an established editor. Is there a place on Wikipedia for new editors to introduce themselves? Thank you. --Wajilsobme (talk) 19:31, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Wajilsobme: Editors generally introduce themselves on their own user pages. I'm not aware of any other place for introducing yourself, but I recommend going to Wikipedia:Teahouse if you have questions about Wikipedia. There are plenty of helpful editors there who are more knowledgeable about the site than I am. Welcome to Wikipedia! Miles26 (talk) 20:49, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
