Persecution of Bahá'ís ? --Smkolins (talk) 02:13, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply

That's what I was asking Wiki's editorial staff for help with. At the time I noticed how old the statistics in

Persecution of Baha'is are ancient. I would appreciate some guidance since you commented last time and are obviously conversant with the subject and the editor who reverted my entry is missing in action. (And I do accept responsibility for some of this since it took me till now to notice that when you're logged in, you get message icons. When I do post, it's often in fits and starts like this. My bad, but the situation for the Baha'is in Iran is becoming so grave I hate to see old statistics like this [20 Baha'is in prison, eg] sit languishing.) Thanks for responding. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Minissa (talkcontribs) 03:58, 8 September 2013‎ (UTC)[reply

The goal is to use well published sources (a kind of wikipedia:reliable sources). If they are online they then are more accessible but however they are officially published it can work (minding that academic sources carry the most weight.) Sources from Baha'is about Baha'is in some situation like this can be noted in ways (like "Baha'i sources say...".) So if the US Office of Public information published something then we can see about using one of these templates. --Smkolins (talk) 19:19, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
