Please do not re-insert the content of this article. It had been stubbed per

WP:BLP, see the edit history. It contains a vast amount of poorly sourced libellous information about a living person, and must be stubbed. One Night In Hackney 19:14, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply

Vandalism

Hi there Mortus Est. I noticed you've been doing a lot of vandalism reverting (which is great!) It's important to remember to warn vandals, though, on their talk page, so that they think twice before vandlising again, and so that legitimate editors and admins know when and where they've vandalised and been warned before, in case they need to be blocked. see this page for more info! ConDemTalk 13:32, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well I'm now using the vandal warnings but I'm under no false impression that it makes any difference to the gits blanking pages or inserting garbage.

Nothing I've reverted could possibly have been a mistake and about 1/4 of them are consistent offenders. Hell I've even found myself correcting vandalism that came from the college I'm at.

Oh well. ^_^ Mortus Est 11:24, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's true, often it doesn't stop them, but warning them means that they can be blocked if they continue, because in general they have to be warned before they can be blocked. Keep up the good fight! ConDemTalk 13:58, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling

Don't you think it's a little funny to yell [1] at someone for changing between British/American spelling, and then edit an article with consistent American usage throughout to British? By the way, what's the British spelling for "metered"? Rracecarr 05:30, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't want to start a american/british spelling war which improves nothing hence the stealth reversal when I filled in other information. You went through it and changed british to american spellings when the majority was actually british. If you disagree you can check for yourself. The spelling of metered is exactly that. Metres are for length/distance in non-american english. Useful if talking about length and a measuring device in the same sentence. Mortus Est 21:50, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that switching between American and UK spelling is pointless--either is fine as long as it is used consistently. That is why I'm surprised you went to the trouble to change a consistently American article to UK spelling, and why I won't change it back. Before my edit, the spelling of "meter" was American throughout, and the spelling of "pressurise" was British. There were approximately the same number of instances of each of these words. I did not notice any other words in the article with UK/USA spelling discrepencies, so which convention to choose was a tossup. Rracecarr 22:21, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
