A New Testament (Christopher Owens album)

I've declined the speedy tag you placed on A New Testament (Christopher Owens album). The reason I declined it is because the article isn't about a group, it's about an album by a person who has an article in Wikipedia. For your information, עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 07:52, 31 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I can point out the problems I have seen with your deletion tagging.
Abubakarr Multi-Kamara. You tagged this G5. The creator of the article was blocked after creating the article for a username problem There is no indication the creator was blocked some time in the past and created this article in violation of that block.
WP:NGRIDIRON
.
Lana Montalban. You tagged this with a BLPPROD after the article had been tagged previously with a BLPPROD and a different administrator had removed it because it had references and said take it to AFD if it should be deleted. It still had references when you tagged it.
WP:NGRIDIRON
.
Jazz Hawk. You tagged this with A7 and G3. The first sentence says it is about a "semi-fictional character", A7 does not applie to fictional characters. I have no idea how you considered this vandalism.
Andy C. (Cobos). You tagged this with a BLPPROD. BLPPRODs can only be added to articles if there are no references in any form or that the references do not support any of the information in the article. The article had three external links that support some of the information in the article.
These are the deletion requests you have made that I have declined. You need to step back from tagging articles for deletion and make sure you understand the criteria before tagging anything else. GB fan 12:56, 31 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Mr. Guye was told by a few editors to read about CSD properly, although Mr. Guye has improved his editing and he is always ready to acknowledge his mistakes. I hope he will slow down for now. OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 13:00, 31 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Julia Ho

Mr. Guye You marked the article I wrote for speedy deletion. It has not violated any of the terms for this site and it contains accurate information. You asked if it was a joke, and yes the article was intended to be humorous but it has references and links for proof. Technically it should not be deleted. Sorry I'm new here I have no idea if I'm supposed to be posting through here. Thanks. Juliaho (talk) 22:36, 2 September 2014 (UTC)Juliaho Sept. 2, 2014[reply]

Knowledge Planning Corp Wiki Comments

Our intent is to present/define and provide a resource and references for issues in socio-economic program development especially for innovative technology into emerging and third world nations. This page is the beginning and will be updated with more content - particularly the types of innovative products and services that have sustainable impact.

We used the history of the group as a way to organize this.

If this is not permitted - how do we properly construct a page that is "about the firm" such as "Bain Capital"?? We are willing to do so if that is an alternative.

Dalia (Egyptian singer)

Hi, http://www.mediander.com/connects/40054161/dalia-%28egyptian-singer%29/#!/video appears to be a copy of the Wikipedia stub, not vice versa. The original information was sourced from CD album inserts and http://mousica.rotana.net/en/r/dalia (now appears to be offline). In ictu oculi (talk) 01:13, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for removing it, but, sorry to say it, how could you not tell this? It appears that you have been given repeated counsel for inappropriate tagging for speedy deletion by half a dozen admins in your recent User Talk page history. To be able to distinguish between a copy of a Wikipedia article and a Wikipedia article copying a website is a 101 requirement for use of speedy deletion tags. In ictu oculi (talk) 01:21, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I am still tagging the page for AfD as non-notable. I recommend you join the conversation.. --Mr. Guye (talk) 01:22, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
That's a separate issue (Arabic language sources) unrelated to the question here, and appears to be an unrelated action by yourself in response to the error notified above. Back to the issue with your tag, is it not the case that you have been given repeated counsel for inappropriate tagging for speedy deletion by half a dozen admins in your recent User Talk page history? Do you recognize that to be able to distinguish between a copy of a Wikipedia article and a Wikipedia article copying a website is a 101 requirement for use of speedy deletion tags? I'm sorry, it's just that I have seen actual copyright violations and I thought this was another one. I made a mistake. I corrected it. Moving on.

Deletions

Hello Mr. Guye,

I have looked at several of your speedies and AfDs in recent days, and I think that you are being way to aggressive in attempting to delete articles. Elected members of the Russian Duma are notable. Professors holding named chairs at major universities are notable. Inhabited villages are notable. Established trade associations for major industries like wireless are very likely notable. Well-established companies with long histories described in books are notable. We don't delete articles about notable topics unless they are hopeless. Deletion should be the last resort. Instead, we improve the articles when possible. Your nominations are so brief that they inspire no confidence that you have investigated the notability of the topic or searched for reliable sources. I suggest that you spend some time reading our notability guidelines, and be very careful to avoid trying to delete articles about clearly notable topics. Thank you.
