Hi Nick, thanks for the great work on the John Day article and related things (see my rambling comments about the qualifier by his name on my talk page). I see you've listed yourself as a reference. Though I'm sure your info is quite accurate, at Wikipedia

Requesting source for your changes on 'Owyhee River' entry
Hi Nick, Can you please disclose your source for this editing change: "It was not until the spring or early summer of 1820 that MacKenzie learned the news of their deaths (probably at the hands of men belonging to a band of Bannocks led by a chief named The Horse). Indians led other trappers to the site, but only one skeleton was located." ? I've never seen that information come up in my research.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Frances Linfield, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Washington and Franklin, New York (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Tea Party movement may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Hi N.M.Sheedy! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Hemiauchenia (talk) 02:27, 1 June 2023 (UTC)
