User talk:N1of2
Hello, N1of2. Are you new to Wikipedia, or have you been editing for awhile as an IP editor and are already familiar with Wikipedia's rules and policies? Regards, AzureCitizen (talk) 17:40, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
- I did occasional edits over the years but nothing intense. Thanks for reaching out; from a quick look I see that your edits and comments are frequently well received. Your usage of "lede" actually made me look it up. :) N1of2 (talk) 18:35, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
- Either way, welcome to Wikipedia! I thought to ask because sometimes folks are new and haven't had the chance yet to get familiar with Wikipedia policies; I noticed you'd reverted three times in the past 24 hours on the Obsession article (here, here, and here) and wanted to make sure you didn't get yourself in a spot with WP:BRD, which essentially says that if you come to an article and start making changes and your changes are opposed and reverted by other editors, the best way to proceed is to take the proposed changes to the Talk Page and discuss them first instead of simply flipping the article back to your new style/preference while continuing the discussion. With that said, I don't wish to be leave you a negative impression of working with other editors or discourage you from enjoying your time here on Wikipedia... most of the time here, editors find a way to work it out and get along just fine even if their perspectives differ! Everyone has a right to participate as long as they work within the community, and the process of seeking consensus usually ends with an article finding the middle ground (as it should be). On that note, welcome again and I look forward to working with you! Regards, AzureCitizen (talk) 18:46, 21 December 2011 (UTC)]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Chen Reiss, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Charles Spencer (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Gatestone Institute. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Jim1138 (talk) 02:24, 9 October 2017 (UTC)
Please read wp:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle. The article should stay in the original state until wp:consensus is reached. Jim1138 (talk) 02:25, 9 October 2017 (UTC)
