Hello, NNicholaou. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Nick B. Nicholaou, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Nick B. Nicholaou to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Please Stop the Proposal for Deletion

We began the creation of the page just prior to me leaving the country for a couple of weeks. I have returned, and we hope to complete the References section this week or next. NNicholaou (talk) 14:02, 19 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Since you appear to be the subject of the article, it's a bad idea for you to be editing the article at all. Please see WP:Conflict of interest and WP:Autobiography for more information. —C.Fred (talk) 19:46, 19 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

None of what you want to do is OK

The reason the books were removed is because we don't use commercial sites like Amazon to reference material, because anyone can sell on the web these days.

What should have put paid to all of this is that you may not under any circumstances write an article about yourself. You may think you're notable, but I've never heard of you, and I'm not getting a favorable impression right now either thanks to your refusal to understand what people are telling you.

The fact that all your stuff you want to put up is "in your office" tells me that you're self-promoting, and

you may not do that
.

You may not ask other people to edit on your behalf, especially if you have an actual relationship with them. That is

conflict of interest
.

I think you need to figure out why you think you need an article on Wikipedia, because you may not use it for business purposes, nor is Wikipedia a

personal webhost
.

I'm also not entirely impressed with the fact that you posted a false copyright notice on something you uploaded to Commons. Putting a box on a piece of work does not make that your piece of work, and I'm pretty sure your publishers, parishioners, and clients wouldn't like to hear that you were stealing someone else's work without their permission. Yes, it's a bit hyperbolic to say "stealing", but it's what you have done. If I cross out your picture and name on the cover of one of your books, and put my picture and name on there, does that make the book "mine"? No, it doesn't, just like drawing a box doesn't make the entire poster "your work"

In short, all you are doing is making yourself look very bad on a whole lot of levels, and instead of trying to ask permission for things, you need to realize that you simply cannot do what you are doing, and stop doing it entirely. I don't believe you are here to better the encyclopedia, so you might as well focus your efforts elsewhere in life. MSJapan (talk) 19:26, 20 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
