Go ahead and delete that page you tagged. It was supposed to be a user subpage. "My bad."

No problem. But it should be deleted anyway even as a user subpage. I was just letting off steam because I edited hastily instead of checking Wikisource where they had all of this guy's work listed and reproduced. Instead I copy-pasted a list of his works off of some website, which was probably a wiki mirror site anyway. Lesson learned. Check Wikisource.

You complained about vulgar language here. I don't think Engineman was trying to be offensive: "fag" is not a vulgar word in British English, it is a very common slang term for "cigarette"! Physchim62 (talk) 10:36, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:DismentOfSoul.jpg)

You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Racism

The userbox you made about Islam seems a bit racist. I am not Muslim, I am agnostic, but I think some Wikipedians will be offended. Take care with userboxes or you may get a ban.--Editor510 drop us a line, mate 17:25, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, well it still seems a bit offensive, Muslims are a kind religion, not beheading-obsessed maniacs.--Editor510 drop us a line, mate 15:57, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New deal for page patrollers

Hi Nefariousopus,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
