Thank you!

Hi Nerguy: I just noticed that you had given me an award [1] and I wanted to thank you very much. This may be a small gesture, but it means a lot to me. Thank you very much for giving me the honor! Sincerely, IZAK (talk) 05:17, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I would also like to thank you for the award you gave me recently.

Aharon Lopiansky

I reverted your edit to Nochum Partzovitz in which you deleted "Aharon Lopiansky" from the list of Rav Nochum's talmidim. I'm not sure why you deleted his name, perhaps it was because of a spelling mistake which spelled "Aharon" as "Ahron" or because his last name was not capitalized. Anyways, if I made a mistake in doing so, please explain. Gut Shabbos and Chag Kosher V'Sameach. --רח"ק | Talk | Contribs 13:21, 15 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I felt that if he was notable enough he would not be a redlink. Perhaps you could start an article for him.Nerguy (talk) 13:46, 15 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

25th Amendment

Your comment about the 25th Amendment is correct. However, the text is prose, not a direct citation, and I believe the language should be inclusive. --Enos733 (talk) 04:46, 31 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Enos733: I disagree. I feel tht the text should reflect the original more closely, even though it is not a direct citation. Readers understand that the male gender id non-exclusive.Nerguy (talk) 20:30, 31 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I understand where you are coming from, but I do think a better practice is often writing sentences in a manner which avoid the use of gender altogether. In this particular instance, I am impressed by the language of the lede in Twenty-fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution. --Enos733 (talk) 22:44, 31 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Nefesh B'Nefesh page updates

Hi Nerguy, I recently put up an

WP:Israel
, would you take a look?

I also put the

draft of an article for Rabbi Fass, the founder of Nefesh B'Nefesh, in my userspace. A previous discussion in 2021 led to a redirect, and I made substantive changes to the draft for consideration by the Wiki community for an independent article. If you would check that out, as well, I'd appreciate it. Thank you for your help LA for NBN (talk) 08:33, 23 July 2023 (UTC)[reply
