UMaine pic

Thanks for that breathtaking UMaine pic. Got any more?  :) Jalnet2 01:51, 13 Oct 2004 (UTC)

I'm just getting into this, and I'm amazed how quickly this stuff gets seen! I have tons more, since I'm up here about 95% of my time. Any requests?

Mmmm... Maybe some nice sunny pics or some pics showing the autumn trees in their colors. It's up to you. I think the article could use some expansion too, if you know any more stuff about UMaine than I do. There are some very good books on UMaine's history in the Fogler Library's special collections room. The one I used to write the four paragraphs on UMaine's history was "The First Century: A History of the University of Maine, 1865 to 1965", but I didn't have time to read the whole thing. I'd say the article could use a foliage photo, folks "from away" seem to like those. ;) Seriously though, the foliage photo there is a little weak. Though it might actually be better to add a winter photo since that seems to be the only time of year not represented... and since the other seasons only seem to last a few weeks each up here it's rather misrepresentative to not show it.

Formal Schmormal

I wondered how long the "Here's why" comment would last in the Maine article. (sheepish grin)—GraemeMcRaetalk 07:40, 1 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
