Hey! I worked on the page for a while; you can see the large expansions I added in 2014/2015. The biggest problems with expanding the page is finding reliable sources and avoiding bias (since most editors are probably related to M2). I went through a bunch of old Savitar yearbooks to expand the History section, but there's still some un-cited content. The page also tends to get anonymous unsourced edits, whether it's updating the Staff section or changing the Pre-game section, neither of which are sourced well at all. I wonder if we should remove *Staff*, the first half of *Pre-game*, and most of *Bowl game appearances* all together.Nosaj544 (talk) 19:40, 25 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I’d be a supporter of removing staff section entirely since it changes yearly if not semesterly plus the grad asses aren’t notable as college students. Good thinking on using the Savitar. There is also a book put out last year about the school of music, I cited it extensively creating University of Missouri School of Music article last year and it contains a fair bit of Marching Mizzoui history.^[1] Interestingly, the date given for M2’s founding differs between sources. The other source relative to M2 is a biography of Enoch Crowder.^[2] I like the bowl appearance section, though maybe some prose should be added about the highlights so it’s not just a list. That's interesting. 1885 is the colloquially known date (even the old M2 ball caps say "Established in 1885"), the same years as the first public performance at the KU game; I wonder if the centennial book's author found something new while writing the book.
