Your question...

You asked for an explanation in regard to why the

Free! (TV series). Thank you, luxartisan, for asking. I answer you this way because I want to keep my email address private at this time. This project, Wikipedia, has millions of editors, so any and all decisions here are based upon consensus or general agreement among the editors who are involved. In the requested move to change the qualifier of that page from "anime" to "TV series", there was the (rough) local consensus to make the change, plus there were the community consensuses that shaped the two guidelines and the RfC that were cited in that debate. If you truly think that the close was not in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, then you may use Move review to bring that to the attention of administrators. They will decide whether or not it was a good or bad closure. Thank you again, and be well!  Paine Ellsworth  put'r there  20:03, 21 May 2018 (UTC)[reply

Free! episode summaries

Thank you for editing List of Free! episodes. Episode summaries (particularly for seasons 1 and 2) are too long. Every episode summary should be 200 words maximum. (See Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Television#Plot_section for more information. Please don't remove the long plot tag until this issue has been completely addressed. Free! (TV series) appears to have added grammatically inaccurate info, so it has been removed for now.Introducing grammatical errors in the article does not improve it; contrarily, it is a form of regression. Sk8erPrince (talk) 22:07, 31 October 2018 (UTC)[reply

Signatures

Please "sign" your talk with four tildes" "~~~~" This is needed to so others know who left the message. Using three or five tildes is for other purposes, so please use four. See help:talk pages The four tildes is translated into links to one's talk page, user page and time stamp as can be seen after the following: Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 20:07, 2 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi: It's not working. You must have changed your signature in your preferences to display as plain text. It needs to have a link to either your user page, your talk page,or your contributions. Here are the rules and an explanation about changing the way your signature displays; I believe what you may have done is checked "treat the above as wikimarkup", or left it unchecked. If you want to change your name from Ouranista to luxartisan, you need to ask to have it done: usually here. Yngvadottir (talk) 20:06, 3 November 2018 (UTC) Edit to the above: Ah, I now see this edit summary when you started your user page. That probably rules out changing your user name, but I suggest you talk with someone a lot more technical than me about options. Yngvadottir (talk) 20:10, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Free! (TV series)

Regarding this edit on

Free! (TV series) (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Free!_(TV_series)&oldid=867912072) Typically, anything you post needs a citation, which we haven't enforced strictly. If it's in the episode, you need to cite it with an episode tag and list its quote directly. Cheers. lullabying (talk) 21:09, 8 November 2018 (UTC)[reply

Psycho-Pass 3

Merry Christmas! I noted you added stuff to Psycho-Pass's lead regarding critical response to the third anime series of Psycho-Pass. However, the body fails to address that. As a result, I advice you adding reception of the third series to the article or remove it. In case you need sources, the character list has some reviews of season 3.Tintor2 (talk) 18:09, 25 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Psycho-Pass article

The earlier revision used a single one review to sum up every critic's reaction. In contrast there are multiple reviews of the first and second Psycho-Pass series in the body. The lead is is meant to be a brief introduction to the article. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Lead section.Tintor2 (talk) 16:22, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

BTW, do you think the 2015 movie article should be further edited to make better written? Since I never wrote film articles on my own I was curious about it. I thought about the need to making the references more specific but I haven't been able to contact the tumblr user who translated the interviews from the guidebook. In regards to First Inspector I guess we should wait a bit more until there is enough information to have a balanced article. At least casting, premise, song, etc. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 14:47, 15 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanking

Hi Ouranista; I'm glad you like my edits but there's no need to keep thanking me; once is enough and I get the point. I've finished my c/e at Arata Shindo now. Cheers, Baffle☿gab 02:20, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • You got it, although my only intention is appreciation as a Wikipedia courtesy. I wish more editors did this to encourage cooperation since editing can sometimes become quite competitive rather than collaborative. I'm sure you've run into that yourself. I also want to say that I'm glad you began Shindo's page. If you care to contribute to the Psycho-Pass wiki, I'm the admin there as luxartisan and you are more than welcome to join us. Wikipedia or Wikia - it's always a community effort, ne? Take care. Ouranista (talk) 02:39, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, yes I also prefer collaborative editing. ;) I've never watched Psycho-Pass, I just do copy-editing at the
WP:GOCE, but thanks for the offer. Cheers, Baffle☿gab 03:01, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply

Nice work in Shindo's article. Considering the copyedited prose and the amount of real world information, it looks like GA material.Tintor2 (talk) 21:47, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, I've been working in Vash the Stampede and I wonder if you could give its prose a look. I recently trimmed a lot of its in-universe information.Tintor2 (talk) 15:41, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Mika Shimotsuki

After realizing there was a lot of creation and reception info about her, I made an article for Mika Shimotsuki. I couldn't find anything of her English actress though. Feel free to make any edit.Tintor2 (talk) 01:56, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for adding the entry to the
List of animated series with LGBTQ characters
page, I just moved it to the right page

Specifically to the

List of animated series with LGBTQ characters: 2005–2009 page. I even added another entry for Haruka there too, so that's great! So thanks for adding that entry, and if you have any any other entries in the future, that would be great, just be sure to add it to the right page. The section you added to definitely needs more entries of shows in the 1960s-1980s, but I just haven't found many sources for that time period, yet. --Historyday01 (talk) 17:02, 16 January 2021 (UTC)[reply

Ok, that's fair. No need to apologize for it. People put entries on the wrong pages all the time. --Historyday01 (talk) 23:38, 16 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Long time no see

Nice to see you again. Great work in Psycho-Pass articles. It's a shame none of the Sinners movies weren't licensed since, as a result, there is no more content to put about recception to the article or characters featured. If possible, could you revise the article Hajime Hinata? It's kinda new so it needs a prose revision. I tried making the in-universe information as small as possible. I would ask you of Osamu Dazai (Bungo Stray Dogs) instead since it also has potential for a GA but I'll wait for the guild of copyeditors. Anyway, happy editing.Tintor2 (talk) 00:32, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

About Kogami and others, I think the book Psycho-Pass Official Prolilfying should have a lot of commentary about how he was created but sadly only the second book (which is focused on season 2 and the movie) was translated. If not I would have tried giving Ginoza his own article. Akane seems to have more creation but even with google translate I don't understand the director's comment about her. Apparently, the director wanted Akane to be his own preferred take on a female cop but I didn't understand a thing.Tintor2 (talk) 03:13, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Well you might wanna read Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Linking. I don't know exactly well what links are you thinking of but from what I remember the most important parts needed in regards to wikilink involve the lead and infobox of an article as well as where such link in the body is more important. The Shiotani (director) article is kinda relatively new so I tried adding the link today. Any link mentioned in the body should be "reintroduced" in the body but I'm not sure what link is unneccesary. For example, one my latest articles, Makoto Naegi, has the link of the anime or game he is mentioned both in the lead and the appearances section. A common reader would understand what's the anime by the time of reading the reception section. Hope this helps.Tintor2 (talk) 21:19, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm planning to nominate Psycho-Pass: The Movie to GA but I had to reduce the amount of words per guidelines. What do you think about it? I already asked for the guild's help to copyedit it but you also have experience with the franchise.Tintor2 (talk) 12:11, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Sorry for not answering sooner. I suggest you allow the guild to tighten up the articles as they have experience in this sort of editing and know what type of info should stay. I think the article is well done and deserves the GA moniker.
