The items I am copying and pasting from is a proposed book that I personally wrote and all materials represent 40 years of personal research. - No problem there then. Would you consider adding a "references" section at the bottom of the article with details of the book title? It's customary on Wikipedia to cite your sources. I added a section heading for you at Chicagoanso you can see how it's done.

Article Suggestions
Here are some more suggestions to help you wikify the rail transport articles that you are creating:
- Add infobox City of New Orleansfor example).
- Add {{TrainsWikiProject|class=|importance=}} to the talk page to add the page to Wikipedia:WikiProject Trains/Manual of style).
- Add inbound links (e.g. City of Miami).
- Add appropriate external links (see WP:EXT).
- Add references (as noted above).
- Categorize (e.g. Category:Rail transport in the United States by state, Category:Illinois Central Railroad etc.)
- Add images (see [1], etc.)
